I was very leery of him at first. I didn't really much care for him as Johnny Lightning and thought it was weird to have the same actor in a previous Marvel film be Cap. But all that went away after the First Avenger. My favorite solo outing. Just pure awesome all around.

What's kind of amazing to me is how much the actors are kind of like their characters.

RDJ - experienced, playboy, charming, redemption story from a wild past
Evans - handsome straight laced good 'ol American boy
Hemsworth - Blessed with good genes but still willing to work hard to prove himself, funny
Cumberbatch - intelligent, calculating
Pratt - goofball with a good heart

Maybe they're actually terrible actors and just cast well and playing themselves.

Evans really owns this role. Tony is a close second for me, but he is kinda one note compared to Cap who has different layers to his character. Plus it's so much fun to see all his moves with the shield.

On a similar note, My OCD concerning Cap is that I always make sure he's got his cowl on for the cover of every movie he's been in.

^I Didn't need to make one in CIVIL WAR. He doesn't wear one in INFINITY (Not needed) And my ink-cartridge died during the printing of ULTRON...I'll get back to making another one of these days

Chris Evans, easily.

It's funny, but with both RDJ and Chris Evans as soon as they announced the casting I KNEW they were going to be great in the roles. I could see something in Evans' portrayal of Johnny Storm that I knew would work perfectly as Steve Rogers.

Now, RDJ would probably be my #2 choice, but the way they've written his character in the last 3 movies he's been in it makes him a lot less enjoyable in the role. It's not his fault, though - it's the screenwriters' fault.

After seeing new series and more in movies. I got to say Tom Hiddleston and after all the movies he’s been in am so surprised he has one measly vote. He is Loki through and through and has shown so many sides you just have no idea. Phenomenal job by Hiddleston who will win Emmy for limited series.

I haven’t seen Loki on D+ yet so I can’t comment on that but I think my biggest issue with Loki in the movies as that the character is always at the mercy of the script. His allegiance and motivations change from movie to movie based on little more than where the story needs to go. Of the half dozen or so MCU movies that Loki has been in, his character has gone from unpredictable in what he’s going to do and why to…well, not even predictable, just pointless as to what his character motivations are. He changes side so often that it’s no longer a natural progression of his character but a series of nonsensical choices for the sake of moving the story along.

I think it’s implied, basically anything having to do with that universe. I don’t think OldBoy is wrong and either way, seeing Loki in the Cinema in all the Cinematic movies he’s been and there have been a lot and significant for a non-main Marvel superhero/Avenger. And coupled with the series if it fucking counts or not, I still change my answer. Following perfectly, but thanks for pointing out and using your astounding rationale.
