Not every installment has been great, but I dig this franchise overall. I'm down for this, especially with Tony Todd back. Not really interested in the backstory, but his presence in the role.

The cast has been announced and it's currently in production. I liked Brec Bassinger from Stargirl.

I only know Brec out of that list and I loved her in Stargirl so
Movie subtitle is pretty generic and lame for Final Destination. Bloodlines sounds more fitting for a series like Halloween, F13th, Hellraiser, Exorcist or any other slasher flick whose roots are mostly from the 80s.
It's been five years, did you ever get around to watching #5 Devilshalo?

When first announced, this was to go straight to Max. That is no longer the case and will get a theatrical and IMAX release.

Here's hoping it doesn't end up like Hellraiser: Bloodlines.

I've never seen or followed the Hellraiser series.

Glad to see they are keeping to the Mouse Trap style zaniness. Yes, the last couple flicks were disappointing, but overall this series is a guilty pleasure for me.

Funnily enough, the only one I still haven't seen is the original. It's On Demand so I should check it out but I honestly thought eventually a company like Scream might release a "extra-features-laden" special edition...But it's on my radar...Looking forward to this one...

I think he would have already had a tat on his arm there. Pretty tattoo free arm for an artist.
So it makes the scenario moot.

It is weird that the death traps in these movies make me smile? I had the biggest grin on my face watching this. I'm definitely in.

The cinematography is so uniquely Final Destination. I started the trailer before my teens could catch the title. I asked them to name the movie after the first couple of shots. One of them nailed it.
So it certainly looks the part, but just showing single scene with a single actor doesn't tell me much quality wise. Hopefully it's in the same league as 1,2 & 5 and not 3 & 4.

Tony Todd looks really sick in this production photo. He looks unrecognizable. Sad that he was apparently dying of stomach cancer while filming this.

I like that trailer a lot more than that stupid tattoo parlor teaser we got. This actually looks like it could be fun.

Wow that looks wild. I like the element of generations of a family being targeted by death.

Now that's a FD trailer. It gives away too much, but since the franchise has been dormant for a decade and a half, I'll give it a pass since they need to get people excited again.
