Than the Bruce Lee movies ?

Talking about worldwide here, over the years on VHS/BETA/Laserdisc/dvd/bluray etc

There have been so many releases of the Bruce lee movies, not just in the US, but in Asia

I know people will say Star Wars, there have been a lot of releases of Star Wars over the years, but i think the Bruce Lee movies top them.

That's such a sweeping, all encompassing statistic that I think it'd be hard to prove or disprove. For a full library, Lee is probably near the top, but stuff like certain Shaw Bros flicks have seen dozens of iterations as well.

I would assume some public domain titles would be near the top, since any fly by night company can put them out.

I remember when Night of the Living Dead was everywhere.

Interesting. What would be some of the biggest more popular public domain titles ?

When i think of public domain, i think of the dodgey tape trading days when rare/obscure horror/exploitation/arthouse/cult etc was traded (and sold by some) under the guise of being in the public domain

Doesn't it have to be one of the Evil Dead movies? At least in the US?

Plan 9 is apparently in the Public Domain because it was never properly copyrighted.
