Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (2021, D: Destin Daniel Cretton)

Sounds like that date is an assumption based off of the 45 day theatrical window. There hasn’t been any official announcement of a date as far as I’ve seen (plus that day is a Monday), or how they’re handling it…. PVOD… Disney+ Premiere… added at no cost to D+… etc.

That’s pretty much what the assumption is. I read it on a Yahoo article, and it’s been mentioned on CNET and a few other sites, but nothing official yet.

I wish Disney had kept up the streaming premium access. I felt like a sucker for it, but I did pay $30 for early access to Black Widow and would've for this as well. Living in Indiana and knowing several people who’ve had a lousy time with covid after being vaccinated, I just can’t justify going to the theater at this point. Will be excited to see it whenever home viewing becomes an option though.

So a 70 day theatrical window instead of the 45 that had been reported.
Makes sense, it's doing well and they don't want to cut the legs out.

The Alamo Drafthouse near us opened back up last weekend so we took my wife, our daughter and her boyfriend to see this again. My son and I saw it opening weekend at a different theater. My son and I binge-watched Iron Man 1 and 3 as well as All Hail the King before going the second time (he hadn't seen them) and it was neat to see the continuation of that story. And I caught someone who looked like they had the Extremis treatment in one of the cage fights.

Best Disney distributed MCU movie last year by far. I bought the regular Blu-ray of this (not 4K) despite me saying I was done buying Disney discs due to their inferior quality.

I liked it. It was very different from the comics, but the character as in the comics wasn't going to work in 2021, so that was to be expected.

You know they release a lot of Marvel movies when you can start ranking them within individual years.
