It was okay but lacking in the humor of Jim Carey's and not quite as much charm as the original. He is a nicer gentler Grinch which is okay with me but makes his transformation less impactful. However, I do like the "moral of the story" in that it's basically hurting people hurt people. So in other words it elaborates on the original Chuck Jones resolution without making it creepy like the Jim Carey one.
