Killer Klowns from Outer Space- appreaciation thread and why was a sequel never made?
So I just recently saw Killer Klowns from Outer Space at a local theater, and really liked it. The goofy plot, bad acting, the practical effects are all top notch and I love 80s horror movies. I know it was made by the Chiodo Brothers, and I think they were involved with making Team America. In regards to ending
I liked the movie a lot, it felt like it left things open for a sequel.

Cult classic for sure. I used to watch it all the time when I was younger.

I hate clowns in general but I don't remember this movie that much. I may have to revisit it soon.

This is one of horror's most unique and memorable films. Every single time I wear my Killer Klowns shirt I get a ton of comments and compliments.
Right now, they're taking the live orchestral show on tour.
Will a sequel/remake/TV series materialize ever? Who knows - and I don't really care too much. Nothing could come close to the original anyway, though I'd love to see new klowns from the Chiodos.

It’s a fun movie, and the theme song is great. Surprised the Chiodio Bros didn’t really do any more of their own movies after.

It's one of those movies that, if it's on TV, you watch no matter where it's at in the movie.
My kids have loved it since they were little and will watch any time it's on. Just one of those goofy, fun movies.
