I saw A.I. in the theater and I didn't think the movie would ever end -- had it been a Kubrick-only movie I am sure my viewing experience would have been much different. I voted for Minority Report, especially since technology and aspects of the movie are relevant today and continue to be discussed and debated.

I think I would have loved Kubrick's AI. Whatever we got from Spielberg is not a great movie, or even a particularly good movie.

Minority Report is a fun movie that has frighteningly become more and more realistic as the years pass by.

My vote is for MR, but only because AI has one too many endings.

I was surprised by the crowd who felt AI should have ended at the underwater part, as that would have made the story pretty much pointless. I mean, you might as well have ended it when David broke down eating the spinach.

Just like LOTR: Return of the King.

Tough choice but AI for me. Too bad it didn't end underwater.

AI is one of the worst movies I have ever seen and shockingly agree with dan30oly as hard as that is to say. And yes I am serious.

AI is brilliant. I voted for it. I think a lot of people don’t get the ending or think Spielberg sugar coated it or something. It’s 100% Kubrick’s ending. There’s a huge book of Kubrick’s development sketches. Spielberg followed it very closely. Like it or not all evidence points to it
being a faithful creation. Then again many despised Eyes Wide Shut and that’s among his very best.

Minority Report is pretty damn fun and has some good ideas, but the ending is deeply flawed. Flawed to the point of incoherence.

EWS is a masterpiece and I would rank it above at least 5 of Kubrick's other films.

Like a deaf person at the Vienna Opera, I wish I could appreciate what you guys are enjoying but absolutely can't. I so desperately wanted to like EWS, went to see it opening night, ignoring any negative review. And I HATED it -- every single thing about it. Pretty much the same with AI.
I know Kubrick was a genius but those films were both impenetrable, incomprehensible messes. The work of a guy (or in the case of AI, two guys) so powerful and admired that nobody could tell him that it didn't work or needed a rewrite.

What’s not to like or get? It’s suspenseful and creepy and funny and perverse. It’s got beautiful photography and sets. Tons of great character actors appear.

AI and Eyes Wide Shut are two of my favorite films of all time. I think Minority Report is a good film but not in the same league as AI.

Eyes Wide Shut is a masterpiece. Probably Kubrick's most accomplished movie since 2001. Everything is beneath the surface.

I don't even remember much about Minority Report, while A.I. has stuck with me since the initial watch.

I have the Art of A.I. and it's OOP and fetches large sums of money on the secondary market. It's a great book and it's also coffee table sized.

I enjoyed both films a great deal but feel "A.I." was better. And anyone who puts it at the same level as "Hook" should never be allowed to discuss films ever again.

I like both movies but A.I. gets my vote. Even though it's heart-wrenching and the ending tears me up every time, I feel like it's still a better film than Minority Report even though I like MR just fine.

AI? I don't think I've ever re-watched it. It never called to be after the initial theater visit. Maybe I need to rewatch, but for this poll, MR!
