There’s a red band trailer out with all the C-words unbleeped if you look around.

Maggie Smith has always been fond of the C-words.

My mom thought it was great.

But she said the part where The Rock shot down the Harrier jet with a crossbow was a stretch.

Told ya, this is going to be more brutal than Rambo, and probably clean up the box office.

Saw the preview screening last week after having gone to the exhibit two weekends ago, which was a great little jolt before the movie. This was pretty much everything a fan could want, short of scheduling conflicts for whoever wasn’t in the movie. Henry coming in at the last minute also seemed like that, but he wasn’t missed. Not that he was bad, but there’s so much else going on.

And seeing the characters in theaters with an audience was pretty nice, considering you don’t really get a lot of those large laughs or reactions when watching it on TV.

This movie was delightful. When a popular series makes the jump to the big screen, I always worry that they'll somehow try to make it "bigger" and mess up the tone/chemistry that the characters have. That didn't happen here...they didn't feel any need to make this differently than they did any entry in the TV show, and the film is all that much better for it. It seems like the next episode(s) in the show, and because of that, it works perfectly. Fans are going to LOVE this.

It was good. My wife and I had binged the last season of the show but then I realized we missed the xmas special but it was easy to figure out what happened in it.
Theater was packed; got free Downton Abbey key chains.
