Ya know, that may be the only plausible way to pull off this movie. It may actually improve vin diesel's face hahahaha. U can have Paul Walker 'disfigured' and permanently hidden by a mask too.

Maybe a better premise for the Netflix animated F&F they are considering. Dom's nephew as the leader of MASK squad.

Sorry no movie news (not even sure where that whole Hasbroverse thing is going), but Amazon Prime has the first season (basically the majority of it, the second season was only 10 episodes and were the racing ones) available for streaming.

Plot details have started to leak ...

Set in modern day, MASK will be an elite government task force housed within the CDC. The enemy terrorist group they are fighting has been changed from VENOM to MUHRITES. It will be a 90-minute, action packed PSA.

Thank you fujishig! Some mindless entertainment to put on in the background while simultaneously reliving my youth.

As for M.A.S.K I had a ton of the toys and some of them are probably still boxed up in my parents' attic. I loved the show, and yes it had one of the best intros ever.
C.O.P.S. also had one of the best openings ever. It was badass!

It was always interesting to me that the intros to these 80s and 90s cartoons were better animated then the rest of the actual cartoon episodes.

I said it in the Thundercats thread, but I swear most people believe the entire Thundercats show was animated like that opening. Usually the opening and the introductory miniseries have a higher quality of animation.

I highly doubt we see a remake of C.O.P.S. anytime soon, though. Those Bart Sears, overly muscled steroid-infused designs, too.

I always thought the MASK vehicles were cool, never did see any of the cartoons. I was much more of a He-Man kind of guy.

You mean Inhumanoids and not that travesty of a Marvel miniseries, right?

If they decide to do a live action Inhumanoids, then they need to find a way to get Guillermo Del Toro involved .

I bought a M.A.S.K. toy this past year - Switchblade. I always wanted that one as a kid and never got it.

Now I have to go watch it on Amazon and see if I still get excited when they show which agents/vehicles are getting the call for that episode. Sometimes a random one would come out of left field. Such great stuff.

I watched the first episode but it was dreadful, no childhood feelings for me. My parents didn't allow me to get Rhino because it was part mini-tank and my parents didn't want be to play war. They totally didn't get MASK.
I had Gator, Firefly, Billboard Blast, Goliath (missile launchers weren't "playing war"), Pit Stop Catapult, Wildcat, Afterburner, Barracuda and Wolfbeast. My best friend had most of the other stuff and since he's 2 years older and grew out of it earlier, I got most of his toys later.

Those where fantastic times.

Of all the childhood cartoons, I've always thought Centurions was the most underrated.

It seems unlikely we'll ever get a Centurions revival. Comic book legends Jack Kirby and Gil Kane designed the line, and both are deceased... the rumor is that at least one of their estates has no interest in having anything to do with this line (most think it's Kane's estate).

There is an "unofficial" revival of the toy line that is coming out soon from a new company called Ramen Toy though...

Muhrites? As in "muh rights?" So they saw an anti-mask meme and made it anti-MASK?
