I can't fully hate him because he was on Undeclared.

Saw this last night and I felt this way as well. Pace felt lightning-fast and stayed engaging for me up until
Spoiler:
the Helicopter carrying the money crashes. Logically, it slows down our characters but also slows the film down as well.

Didn't care about the characters but I fully enjoyed everything up until the scene listed above.

Wouldn't argue that.
My chief bitch about that situation was how it was handled by the characters.
It just didn't ring true for me...

It was okay. The ending was hokey as fuck. I know we were supposed to find that endearing about the characters, but it just didn’t work for me.

I saw this yesterday and thought it was a cool action thriller with a great cast. Nothing special or unique though. Gave it a thumbs up.

Saw this last week and was very disappointed. If the cast wasn't loaded with actors I genuinely enjoy in other films, this movie would have sucked far worse. The most intense scenes were concluded by mid-movie... this felt like something Steven Segal should have starred in... in 1991.

I felt sorry for the mule.

Spoiler:
I thought it started out slow but once they got the money I became interested. Maybe they could have gotten more guys and another plane to carry all that loot though they would have to split the money more ways which would probably lead to other problems.

Margin Call and A Most Violent Year were so good. Never saw All is Lost. I didn’t feel this fit with those. I agree with the poster above that this is a movie we would have expected as DTV action movie fare in the 90’s.

It it was a misfire. It had a few good moments. And I look forward to anything Affleck and Chandor do in the future.

I loved All is Lost but haven’t seen Margin Call. I was pretty underwhelmed by AMVY and I like Oscar Isaac a lot. Triple Frontier was not as good as it could have been but I did enjoy watching it.

All Is Lost was incredible. Redford delivered such a great performance and it was more or less dialogue-free. Such a taut script. Now that it was mentioned, I think I'll watch it again tonight after this awesome hockey game between the Sharks and Knights ends. Margin Call was also superb, and had a great, great ensemble cast...

Didn't care for A Most Violent Year...felt that one was over-rated...Even though I liked the performance from Oscar Isaac...

Sequel could be in the cards:

I saw the first movie, I even commented on it in this thread, but I’m struggling to remember even a single thing about it.

But fuck it, I’ll watch a sequel!

Really enjoyed this flick. A sequel is unnecessary, but I might give it a look.

This is my favorite Netflix content dump type movie, so huzzah. Bring it on.
