In all honesty, I was really rooting for Anton Yeltin. He was a very good actor and I was really hoping he would have a breakout movie and move on to better things. I was very surprised when I read about him dying and how. He had so much potential and I really think he would have eventually won an Oscar.

I am pulling for Joseph Gordon-Levitt. So much potential. Just needs the right movie and he will take off.

For some odd reason pretty much everyone who plays Superman:
Tom Welling
Brandon Routh
Henry Cavill

They all seem like decent actors who deserve a bit more than they’ve gotten. Although Cavill is coming into his own.

I'd settle for redubbing his dialogue in HELL OR HIGH WATER without the marbles in his mouth. His attempt to "act" like an old coot ruined the movie for me. I don't recall him doing that in TRUE GRIT and he was just fine there.

True Grit is where he started sounding like that.

After his Oscar win playing a country singer in Crazy Heart, and the next year getting an Oscar nod for True Grit - I think Bridges decided at that point to just go with the old cowboy persona.

I know he is old and maybe he just quit acting years ago but it would have been nice if he did more movies.


Dustin Hoffman might be in the same boat though he has done more movies than Pesci though the "Me Too" movement might kill his career.

Brendan Fraser who has his own thread is somebody that I would not mind having a resurgence.

Just the other day saw a trailer for a movie about an old movie star who shows up for a rinky dink film festival. He's guest of honor. Stars a very aged Burt Reynolds.

Would like to see Christina Ricci do more big screen work outside of voice role for animated films. She was still doing strong work up until the late 2000's and then started appearing in Lifetime movies and had that very brief stint with Pan Am.

I'm going with Steve Martin, but with a condition.

Other than some voice work, he's only done 2 movies in the last 9 years - and the last one was only a very small role. He's basically been concentrating on music and art.

I'd love to see him come back with a real dramatic role, even in an ensemble cast. He's done some drama before, but I think he'd be great with the right role.

I was not a huge fan or hated her but what happened to Hilary Swank?

She was a favorite in the Academy for a while with several Oscar nominations and I don't think she had plastic surgery and destroyed her face.

She's made some bad career choices, but when given the right role she can hit it out of the park. I thought she was great in Tommy Lee Jones' The Homesman.
