yeah, thats what I was implying. Getting bumped from next year to December, indicates to me that the studio really thinks it has awards potential.

This is good to hear. I am also thankful that his last directed film won't be the Paris one and also glad that Trouble from the Curve won't be his last acting role (Curve had some good performances, Amy Adams, and wasn't terrible, but by no means should it have been his swan song).

Looks good. Could and will very likely be Clint's final acting role.

really good trailer. I expected it to be infused with a bit of a comedic vibe. But I'm looking forward to it.

agreed. I was surprised by how much I liked that trailer. This could be a very tense movie.

What was that piano music in the trailer, “I started a Joke”?

I assumed it was one of Clint's typical sparse "tinkling" compositions that somehow seem to work as a film score.

It’s a slow version of Rhapsody on a theme of Paganini by Rachmaninoff, was used in somewhere in time as well as the ice skating scene in Ronin amongst others.

Thanks, that’s it! I knew it sounded familiar.

I would love to see Eastwood make one more movie as a retired, pissed off Harry Callahan that has to be consulted on an old case, and decides to take matters into his own hands.

This does look really good though.

This opens next week and apparently it has not been screened for anyone. Despite its release date, Warner Bros is also claiming that it's not awards bait (apparently they said the same about Million Dollar Baby though).

What that all means, I don't know. I wouldn't be surprised if they are still editing it being that it wrapped over the summer.

There was no buzz around 15:17 to Paris either and that was dog shit... Clint's worst. So this HAS to be an improvement. There is still plenty of time for reviews on this. I see the trailer every time I go to the theatre. Having Clint in the movie assures it will atleast do well with the older crowds.

The trailers look fantastic... this has me actually wanting to see it in the theater. But then I keep thinking back to his last movie and I'm hesitant.

Well, this one does have real actors in it, so that should help.

The reviews I've read make it sound like Eastwood's take on The Straight Story, but you know, with a drug mule.

Did you hear about Oprah getting busted at the airport?

Spoiler:
Security looked up her dress and found 300 pounds of crack.

Never thought I'd see a movie with an 88-year-old Clint Eastwood having a three-way not once but twice, yet here we are.
