Scrooged Lost alternate scene
I was watching old Danny Elfman interviews last night and I came across this. At 1 min 44 sec we are shown what he’s working on. It’s Scrooged! And it appears to be an early cut. It’s the scene where Bill Murray discovers the frozen homeless man.
Scrooged had a difficult post production. I’ve heard tales of recutting and rescoring and efforts to make the film less dark. But I’ve never seen any actual outtakes or deleted material. This isn’t much, but it’s something.
