People just seem to love to rip on Synder for some reason.
MOS is a great fucking film up until JK's death. Then it becomes a mess.

MoS was the energizer bunny of movies.

To be fair, GL wasn't nearly the slog that MoS or BvS were. It was corny as hell, but it wasn't boring.

Yes, people hate on Green Lantern because it’s cool to hate on DC. It can’t be because it’s corny and a pile of shit at all that nearly ruined Ryan Reynolds’ career or anything. Give me a break. If some find enjoyment in it then whatever but let’s not pretend it takes a lot of flack for no reason.

Honestly I agree. Man of Steel is actually the DCEU film I’ve enjoyed the most thus far. I don’t like the final act but it’s got some strong moments during the first half or so. I’ve never completely hated it even though I recognize it has problems.

All the YouTube reviews I’ve seen for this are positive. All the text reviews I’ve read are either mixed or negative. Hmmm.

Did you read my posts about GL or did you just knee jerk react? I said I HATE Green Lantern too. I totally agree it's a piece of shit. The "cool to hate" part was addressing how someone could say Green Lantern was better than well, anything.

I kinda agree with that, the first half was really solid...then it tuned into spectacle

Been watching Batman V Superman to get me ready for Justice League. Not sure is working, the movie is such a bore, I feel like i don't want to watch more Snyder anymore

I was replying to what you said and admittedly didn’t read your other post but others have been saying it too and seem to have meant it.

Can Warner Bros.’ Expensive, Long-Awaited ‘Justice League’ Deliver the Hit That DC Needs?
http://variety.com/2017/film/news/ju...ck-1202615975/

Doesn't seem like WB is feeling good.

So this needs to make like $900M+ to be profitable?

No way it makes it's money back in the States. It will probably need to do some similar business like Fate of the Furious and make most of it's money back from overseas.

They may cover marketing and re-shoot budget. Probably not much more.

So am I going to miss out on anything necessary to the plot because I haven’t seen Wonder Woman?

Local paper gave it 1 star. Bad Moms got 1 1/2 stars.

I started to read the article, but it launched right into spoiler territory. (S**erman comes back ... no, not Spider-Man. Sssshhhh!)

It's Bluelitespecial. If you've missed his feelings towards women, it will be fun for you to look at his posting history (and that's just the ones he didn't delete!)

Yeah, you are going to be missing out on seeing the better movie of the two.

I just hope Joss Weadon's influence on the movie is minimal. I'll find out in about an hour.

Re: Justice League (Snyder, 2017) — The Spoiler Filled Reviews Thread

Just saw it and enjoyed the hell out of it.

It does move at break neck speed. There is hardly any breathing room. But I feel like we spent a decent amount of time with the characters. I would be interested in an extended cut. The final battle did not go on and on like I was expecting.

All spoilers ahead:

Spoiler:
Superman was amazing. Superman is redeemed. He beat Steppenwolfs ASS!

When he showed back up in the costume, that got a big applause at my screening. People still love Superman. I dont care what anyone says.

Elfmans score was very generic and very forgettable. I barely heard Williams Supes theme, and did not hear Batman. Oh well.

Very cool seeing a Green Lantern in flashback.

I am glad they addressed what Wonder Woman has been up to since WWI, and Batman called her out on it.

Affleck is still a cool Batman. It's too bad he is looking to leave.

Flash is the comic relief and it worked. When he is trying to sneak up on Superman, and Supes turns to look at him, was great.

Aquaman was cool, his solo movie will be nice to flesh things out. Cyborg was an integral part, and I dont think he felt out of place.

The end credit scenes both got a big reaction. People loved the race, and there were a few "oh shit, Deathstroke!" in the audience.

But again, Superman was amazing.

I don’t know much about him, Is boo-yah like a catch phrase for Cyborg? The only time the audience popped the entire movie was for that.

Yeah he says it all the time in the Titans cartoon.
