The stakes are higher than ever in the intense action-adventure Death Race: Beyond Anarchy, arriving Unrated and Unhinged on Blu-ray combo pack, DVD, Digital and On Demand January 30, 2018, from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment. This all-new movie is promised to be the grittiest and bloodiest installment yet.
Franchise newcomers Zach McGowan (“Black Sails”) and Danny Glover (Lethal Weapon, Saw, Predator 2) join returning Death Race fan favorites Danny Trejo (Machete) and Fred Koehler (“American Horror Story”). Death Race: Beyond Anarchy also features talented actors Christine Marzano (Rules Don’t Apply), Terence Maynard (Edge of Tomorrow) and Velislav Pavlov (The Expendables 2).
In the film, “Danny Trejo returns as the ruthless bookie, Goldberg, in the wildest, bloodiest, Death Race ever. After a failed attack on inmate and legendary driver, Frankenstein, Black Ops specialist Connor Gibson (McGowan) infiltrates a super-maximum federal prison with one goal – enter the immoral and illegal Death Race and take Frankenstein down. Connor enlists the help of Baltimore Bob (Glover) and Lists (Koehler), and unexpectedly falls in love with bartending beauty, Jane (Marzano). Connor will have to fight for more than his life in this brutal world of no guards, no rules, no track, and no fear.”

I loved the 2 Death Race straight to video sequels.
I'm a little surprised they're making another one considering 3 essentially wrapped up the whole storyline with Frankenstein.

This was supposed to come out in 2 weeks. I did pre-order it when the price dropped to $12 and change.
However, the Amazon page disappeared recently. I got an e-mail from Amazon today saying that my order has been cancelled.
Looks like the studio has postponed the release to later this year with no date set yet according to another site I read.

Oh well, I can wait.

I saw this last night.
It was awful. No hot chicks....Not even close to the quality of Tanit Phoenix or Natalie Martinez.
Just an ugly and gloomy movie. It just didn't have the fun of the previous movies. The last 2 movies even though they were DTV were fun.
Only 2 guys returned from the last movie...Danny Trejo (very small part) and Fred Koehler (dorky computer guy). Danny Glover was also here collecting a paycheck.
This was basically a reboot to try to re-launch the series. Frankenstein is also back. He's played by someone else. There was no continuity with that character after how 3 left things off.
Looks like Zach McGowan, the lead of this movie, is now the new star of these Universal DTV movies. He's the new lead of Scorpion King 5, which is filming and has the same director as this piece of shit.
I give this a D-

I still think a movie adaptation of Twisted Metal would be cool.
Death Race has been fairly entertaining. Really liked the first one, disliked the second, and the third was alright. This fourth movie seems like it could be decent.
Not liking that they broke continuity to semi-reboot the franchise by continuing with Frankenstein.

Now on Netflix as of today.
It's awful as I said above, so use discretion when deciding on watching this.

I watched Death Race Beyond Anarchy last night and I loved it. It is honestly my favorite movie in the franchise.
And you think there's no hot girls??? There's many hot girls in this movie. Yennis Cheung was hot as Gipsey Rose and that half-shaved head was a big turn-on for me, Cassie Claire was hot as Bexie (omg that part where she pulled the grenade pins with her tongue was such a turn-on) she even looked a little like Rihanna, that chick Danny Trejo's Goldberg character was banging in that movie was gorgeous as well, and my personal favorite was Matilda the Hun, played by Jasette Amos, who I found the most attractive as a thick black girl with sexy tongue piercings and a lesbian-ish personality. There's plenty of hot women in the background of this movie as well, including the flag girl with a great set of tits.
The thing with this movie is that the beautiful women blend in better with the world they inhabit. In the earlier 3 remake movies, the women were so beautiful that they seemed a little out of place. Whereas in this movie the female characters are more in their element with the rest of the movie and they were extra-hot because of it.
And the ugliness and gloominess of this movie is exactly what this movie needed to capture the grittiness of that world.
I give this movie an A-.

Hey all movies are subjective. It's my opinion and I still stand by it.
Glad you liked it, but I still don't.

Re: Death Race: Beyond Anarchy (2018)
lol, no, just a HUGE fan of the Death Race remake series and I'm feeling reinvigorated as a fan after watching Beyond Anarchy.
I'd rank them as...
1. Beyond Anarchy
2. Death Race 2
3. Death Race 1
4. Death Race 3
Death Race 3 is ranked on the bottom because I didn't like how they relocated the contest to a whole other continent in Africa, even though I love movies set in Africa. 1, 2, and BA felt more authentic with the first 2 being on the prison island and BA being relocated to a town known as the Sprawl that was walled up, which felt kind of like Judge Dredd and the Maze. Plus, I'm a huge fan of the Mad Max movies and Beyond Anarchy thrilled me with how it had some Mad Max vibes. Plus, growing up playing the Twisted Metal games, I'd be a natural fan of the Death Race franchise (not 2000 or 2050 though, those sucked. lol)
I'd love having a job making Death Race movies, can you imagine being around all those hot topless chicks on the Beyond Anarchy set?
