I had a friend who joined the Marines his senior year of high school. His dad was a little upset with his choice, told him that he'd regret the decision and that he should watch "Full Metal Jacket" to see what boot camp was like. My friend rolled his eyes at his dad and was convinced that boot camp really wasn't like that anymore.

Met up with my friend after he graduated from basic training and he said his dad was right. The DIs were exactly like the one depicted in the movie.

What type of party we talkin' about? Like the ones I used to have in the '80s with my buddies like Ken Wahl and Jan Michael Vincent? Them was wild times! (JMV still attends some of my parties, but he usually only lasts 15 minutes before he shits his pants...I make it about 25).
