PLOT: Three friends filming an audition tape for an extreme reality show, take part in shark cage diving, only to be left in great white infested waters, turning their recording into life and death.

47 Meters Down has made $26m so far with a good deal left in the tank, I'm utterly surprised by that. So the fact this is getting any theatrical release at all is probably thanks to them.

The first title for this movie was Cage Dive but then was later added to the Open Water "universe"

Yeah, I think I saw it. The guy from Grey's Anatomy and bunch of other randos have a yacht and all decide to go swimming in the ocean, but the last person off the boat forgets to lower the ladder, preventing anyone from getting back on. Chaos ensues.

The first two aren't great films, but very watchable for me, maybe in a guilty pleasure sort of way.

Couldn't even make it through trailer. I think I saw 2, it was ok, but nothing special...
