The release date is giving me Hellboy 2 vibes now that Avengers: Endgame moves theirs up to two weeks after this.

These fucking studios don't get the fucking message with release dates. Hellboy will have one good weekend then sink like a brick once Avengers hit, essentially killing the franchise AGAIN. /facepalm

It’ll get 2 weekends before Avengers comes out. If it can’t make enough money by then it wouldn’t get it anyway.

The more I look at this image the worse it becomes. I am looking at the proportions for everything and its as if every limb is a different size compared against the whole. His left arm and legs simply don't look like they come from a torso as large at that. Of course the right hand of doom has got to be big, but that simply throws in yet another out of proportion limb. One things for sure, its not been leg day in the gym to get that torso that size.
I enjoyed the GDT movies and sure I will dig this one, but at this point I am not seeing why they simplyndidnt do don't third movie in that series if they are keeping them as close as this.

Actually, if you look at writer/artist Mike Mignola's work on the character (particularly his later stuff), it's not all that far off.

It’s not unusual for Hellboy to have odd and inconsistent anatomy in the comics whether drawn by Mignola or someone else, but what can work on a drawn comic page doesn’t necessarily translate into live action.

Personally, I'm not. Will wait for home video. That said, don't mind the look and voice.

Wow, I was not expecting that much comedy. I'm in.

Looks like they may have adapted one or more comics or parts of stories for the movie. I recognized Baba Yaga's house.

That was completely terrible. None of the charm and creativity of GDT, the new actor is no Ron Perlman, and sweet Jesus I’ve always hated that Billy Idol song. 🤮
