I found this amusing.

Re: Jaws: The Wine

There's lots of amusing detail. Notice the yellow raft in lower corner and the dog is there.

I'm hoping for a follow up:

Re: Jaws: The Wine

Coppola has a couple other movie related wines.

The prints are all by Laurent Durieux. (I personally didn't care for the Jaws print, but look at how much it goes for on eBay)

Re: Jaws: The Wine

Yeah they also had the Oz one. Curiously it is The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, as in the Baum novel, not the MGM movie. Probably a rights issue.

Where'd you pick it up? Chain store? I didn't really want to order a case from Coppola, but as my condo is 70% Jaws related stuff, I'd want it just to have.

Local independent market. I haven't seen it in chain stores. I could send you the bottle. Empty bottle that is

Re: Jaws: The Wine

First I want to point out that all my Photobucket photos have reappeared. They must have changed their policy.

Anyway, I had some further Jaws experiences to share. I went to Catalina Island a couple weeks ago and they had a Jaws display that included some real props.

If you look closely you can see that people have signed the cage over the years.

These are wax dummies made by some artist. They looked fairly real.

I misread Mabuse's post, so for about three minutes I thought those was figure pictures were from devilshalo's condo. My jaw was on the floor thinking, Wow, they're really into Jaws.

Looks like something that would be in the TCM wine club.

I know Jaws 2 gets pissed on a lot, but I enjoy it. It's nowhere near as good as the original, but it's not that bad. Now, anything after Jaws 2 is unwatchable IMO.

That would be one hell of a living room.

Those life-sized figures are from Greg Nicotero.

I have painted two similar barrels that sit in my guest bedroom. Been looking for a replica fighting chair.

No, that was a different guy, Nick Marra. http://nickmarrastudios.com/

Nicotero also did Bruce.

I need to get to Catalina before the exhibit ends on the 16th.

I saw that on a YouTube video and it was outstandingly realistic. These were not so much so.

Re: Jaws: The Wine

Here’s the video. It’s with the guy from Mythbusters (I think?)

A lot of it has to do with lighting too, I imagine. And what I saw was not well lit.

Love it!

One thing I didn't think of about the wine ... shouldn't it be a nice red wine?
