Based on the shocking, true events of March 13th, 1997, when several mysterious lights appeared over Phoenix, Arizona. This unprecedented and inexplicable phenomenon became known as "The Phoenix Lights", and remains the most famous and widely viewed UFO sighting in history. Phoenix Forgotten tells the story of three teens who went into the desert shortly after the incident, hoping to document the strange events occurring in their town. They disappeared that night, and were never seen again. Now, on the twentieth anniversary of their disappearance, unseen footage has finally been discovered, chronicling the final hours of their fateful expedition. For the first time ever, the truth will be revealed...
This is out this weekend. I don't see any reviews...

I love the "untold" tagline. Well, someone must have told someone about it so how can it be untold

I'm a sucker for found footage flicks and I saw the trailer for this a month or so ago - very interested in it.
It's cool to see the "Scott Free" label as well backing this.

I think this looks alright. Will see because it's Phoenix. Curious to see what they shot around here (if anything).
There are #PhoenixForgotten billboards around Phoenix. I wonder how many people looked it up. Before I did a search, I figured it was another mattress company or something. Awhile back, Tuft & Needle had similar "TN - What they haven't told you" (or something to that effect) billboards.

I live in Phoenix and have seen the billboards. I also looked them up to see what it was.

Like Rival11, I am a sucker for (most) Found Footage films. Hope to see this one later today.

Re: Phoenix Forgotten (2017)
Saw this yesterday.
It's a pretty safe film but it kept my interest whenever it transported me to 1997. Cinematography looked great and I'm always a sucker for films that speak on the public obsession with UFOs throughout the 1990s.
When the film cuts to present day, my engagement would wane due mostly to Florence Hartigan's incredibly flat performance.

Just got back from this. I dug it. The creepiness, mystery and the atmosphere throughout the film was done quite well. Phoenix Forgotten is the real Blair Witch sequel if you ask me.
