OMG This looks so good!! This looks like the Transformers movie we have wanted for so long. If it's anything like the trailer it's going to be so great. Seems like a much simpler story that can focus on a few characters and actually make the transformers relatable let alone identifiable. The character design alone is a HUGE step in the right direction. I have an unfortunate feeling that the scenes on Cybertron are probably only a few minutes in a flashback. The look is really cartoonish and stylized and doesn't seem to fit with the aesthetics of the rest of the film. But it's still a nice decision and hopefully the future of Transformers movies will finally give audiences and fans what they want.

This looks really good... better than any of the best parts of the past 5? movies. That said, I've never been a Cena fan. When I see him, I get taken out of any movie I'm watching.

The designs of the Transformers look great.
The human main character seems like a good choice too.
I saw the first one and thought it was at least really cool to see giant robots tear shit up on the big screen. The novelty wore off in the second one, and the only good thing about it was that it was funny. I didn't see the others.
But I will definitely be seeing this one in theaters.

I hope the seeker we see in the middle of the trailer is who I think it is.

I also hope they ignore some of the stupid things that Michael Bay introduced.

Looks way better than the others, especially the last two.

Still not a fan of The Big Robot Stumbling Around In The Small Space trope, but everything else looks pretty spot on.

I surprisingly want to see this. I haven’t been a fan of the Michael Bay directed films beyond the first one.

So is this still a prequel, or is it a reboot with G1 designs now?

This second trailer has ensured that I will see it at the theater. Seems to have more heart than all of the Bay films put together. Then again, Kubo is fucking awesome. The designs are great.

I don's give a shit about the G1 designs because they look too cartoony to me in live action. But hey, I'm glad ya'll got your childhoods back. Either way, it still looks good.

I really don’t have a lot of attachment to the Transformers. Never watched the cartoon as a kid and I had some of the toys I think but I wasn’t overly into them. I just think the new movie seems like it could be a better film than we’ve previously gotten. I do like the G1 designs as opposed to the previous movie designs.

The problem with the live action Transformers movies is that the chartacter designs are so amorphous that it’s nearly impossible to distinguish one character from another. The G1 designs are easily distinguishable and have more personality.

I saw the original fucking trailer in front of every fucking movie all fucking summer long.

I'm skipping this on general fucking principle.

The McDonald's Happy Meal toys are cute, totally gen 1 based.

I think the designs in the Cyberton scenes look damn near exactly like the cartoon versions, so if that style is too blocky for some people, I can see that. I mean, I like them, but maybe it's kind of like how the once sleek looking Lamborghini Countach's look outdated compared to the 2010's ones.

But the transformers on Earth, like the one Angela Basset voices, Bumblebee, and Starscream, look like a perfect mergings of the G1 cartoon designs and the Michael Bay designs.

And yeah, they are easier to tell apart. That's kind of the point of having different Transformers, their cool looking different designs.

I'm not sure but I bet they are being smart about it and playing it vague so it can go either way. This was far too in development to cancel outright after the Last Knight bombed but it seems like they might have addressed some complaints people had from the others once Micheal Bay wasn't involved.

I just realized this is directed by the guy that did Kubo and the Two Strings which was amazing. Combined with the G1 designs and it actually looking like it has some heart to it, I'm looking forward to this one. I have had zero interest in the Bay films after seeing the designs.

And that last trailer when Soundwave launches Ravage - holy shit, I nearly screamed out loud.

I like the song Hailee did for this movie. A guilty pleasure.

She should sing “The Touch.”

I feel like you guys are prioritizing G1 designs over the fact this movie looks and likely will be terrible.

Possibly but Hailee Steinfeld and G1 designs are already big improvements on nameless-pretty-face-girl and crumpled aluminum foil designs of the last couple of movies.
