This opens tomorrow. A couple reviews so far, I think there's still an embargo for a little bit longer.

My prediction: it'll suck balls, have potential for laughs but fall short, Will will be an idiot and go for laughs by hurting himself or being a "playa". Amy will be the only bright spot... this will make waaaay too much money overall and we'll see a sequel nobody wanted in 2019.

This is tracking about as well as a hydroplaning vehicle. Gonna doubt the make money remark.

Can't believe still no substantial reviews. Does not bode well...

This looks like something straight from 2003.

I can tell it's a dud because they can't even find funny clips to promote this movie when Ferrell and Poehler have been doing the talk show circuit.

Is Amy Poehler pregnant as she looks like she gained a lot of weight when she was on Fallon the other night.

Poehler is a gifted comedic actor on TV, but in the movies, she is box office poison. I can't think of one life-action performance of hers that was memorable in a good way (though to be fair I never saw Wet Hot American Summer) -- she cranks up the obnoxious and irritating personalities as far as she can. It's weird because on Parks & Rec she quickly settled into a much more agreeable sweet persona and got a lot of positive reaction for the work, and she did fantastic vocal work on Inside Out.

She really hasnt done many major movies outside of VA work, and of her movies two were successful Tina Fey joint projects. Sisters made $87m, Baby Mama did $60m.

Wow, both those movies were unwatchable. Surprised they made their production costs back.

I thought the same and looked everywhere online. Couldn't find anything. If she's not pregnant, she put on a lot of weight.

I don't think she is pregnant. I looked on Wiki and she is 45 and looks like she just got divorced from Will Arnett after 13 years of marriage as they have 2 children together. I hate that I can't past her weight gain, but she was so hot on SNL in her day. I guess I'm just used to actresses getting in shape when they know they are going to promote a project (because that is the day and age we live in), and maybe she just doesn't give a shit.

They've been divorced for a long time. She was dating Nick Kroll most recently for two years.

Are you joking? She's 5'2. 25-30 additional pounds (if that) is a very big "whooptie do". And I'm not talking about her not being hot any longer. She still is. It's just not healthy.

Back to this movie, I'll rent it when it comes out on DVD. But Poehler sure does need a better agent. She was terrific on "SNL". Probably one of my top 5 female "SNL" cast members. It took me a while to warm up to "Baby Mama". Hated it at first. But watched it a few times since and like it a lot more now. "Sisters" though? Abysmal. "Inside Out" is a classic.

I watched 30 minutes of this on my break today. It was awful. Walking out of the theater at the end of my break I passed by Reese Witherspoon and her kids. I didn't see what movie they were watching though. Reese is still HAF.

Re: The House (2017) S: Ferrell, Poehler, Mantzoukas

I saw Poehler on Ellen and commented to the wife how big she looked. Also she was wearing a dress with horizontal stripes which didn't help. This will be a perfect example of where they probably had a ton of fun making the movie but the end result will be terrible. I'll rent this when it comes out but definitely won't see this in the theater.

Hey Hazel, did Reese ask about me?

She was at her peak in 2006 with the long hair

I will catch this on Blu-ray.

Hope maybe she and Tina return to TV and do a show together but one with no laugh track of course.

Will Ferrell is escaping criticism here.

When was his last hit? Maybe he has hit the Jim Carey stage where people are tired of his act.

Don't understand why there is a sequel to Daddy's Home.

Re: The House (2017) S: Ferrell, Poehler, Mantzoukas

"Baby Mama" just happened to be on HBO again last night so I watched for a few minutes. I cannot believe how tiny Amy was. I'm talking a size zero. But looked really good. Not anorexic or anything. There was one scene I did not remember. She was walking down the street wearing skin tight jeans and just a super short vest. No bra or shirt on underneath. At first I said to myself "Who the hell is that!?". I couldn't find a screen shot anywhere online. But here's another scene where she was smoking hot.

You guys are acting like she is a blimp or something. Never found her attractive but if you continue to go on about this weight gain AT LEAST post pics.

Here is an article that is speculating she is pregnant, but her reps deny it. Click the link and it shows some recent pics on Fallon and other talks show circuits:
