I haven't seen any of these but I'm slightly curious due to Trey Parker voicing the villain.

I've only seen the first. Good movie. I haven't heard good things about the sequel or Minions, so I wonder why they are making another. But the answer is obvious. Minions made too much money.

I think the second was generally well liked, if not as good as the original. Minions was panned by most, but kids still ate it up. There should be no mystery as to why they continue to make these movies.

I went to see it yesterday. Tons of kids and obviously the movie was not aimed at me. Didn't really care about this movie except for the 80's music and some of the Minions bits. I loved the first one and didn't care for the second one neither.
I kept wondering how much they paid to include a Michael Jackson song?

I rewatched Minions yesterday, it was cute, as I remembered, but not too special. Seeing Despicable M3 later today at a matinee. I'll likely write up a review. Probably pales in comparison to Okja and Baby Driver....

Yeah, it's pretty weak. The stuff with Trey Parker as the 80's-obsessed villain is kinda fun but the rest is not good and not funny. Two good Minions gags. Not much else worth watching

Saw this on Monday with the wife. The least enjoyable of the 3 for sure. Annoying antagonist, bland story, and not very funny. Carrel seemed to be phoning this one in. Can't say I'd recommend it.

Saw it the other night... it was ok. I want to give it a pass because I love Carrell and the minions are usually fun. My kids weren't overly impressed either... so I'd call it a good rental.

To me it was a lot like the other Despicable Me movies. Entertaining enough to watch, but mostly forgotten while walking out of the theater. The kids enjoyed it, but not particularly notable or memorable. No scenes like the sloth scene in Zootopia, for example. During the previews though, I did groan at the thought of Emoji Movie, but have to admit the poop emoji gags in the preview made me laugh...
