If it has said any change Lucas made, the Anakin change is of course the slam dunk. But to me the Special Edition refers specifically to the 1997 versions, and the Anakin change wasn't made until the DVD release.

Han shooting first is the personification of all of Lucas' ill-conceived revisions. It entered the pop culture as a term. I'm astonished not everyone picked it.

How did I forget this?

do you know what really annoyed me though. In Empire, on Dagobah, when R2 is swimming and the dragon snake eats him and then spits him out. Lucas changed the wording from "you are lucky you don't taste very good" to "you were lucky to get out of there." It pisses me off every time.
