Corto Maltese

Spoiler:
It was not a setting in a film, but looking at my question I did simply say "appeared."

Technically, it appeared in Batman (1989).

Congratulations SuperX. -5

I thought about that too. However DC did pick him up for a while ...

Yeah, I feel like if we're open to a company like 2000 AD, lots of other comic movies should have been allowed in the mix.

I also thought that all the answers had to come from the films listed on those two wiki pages that were linked in the rules.

Well, for awhile, DC did publish an American Judge Dredd comic, so technically the character could fall under DC.

I'm not sure I buy Dredd being a DC character. He's not owned by DC. I admit, I didn't know of the DC series, but that doesn't make him a DC superhero. That's like saying He-Man is a Marvel and/or DC superhero.

The rules say the films have to be based on the Marvel or DC properties. Were those Dredd movies based on the DC comics? Wikipedia says they were not.

I know Corto Maltese has appeared sporadically through the DC Universe. It's a cool nod to the Italian comic series.

Is it just me, or does the ad in that photo keep changing?

And ... I will admit that I wasn't even thinking about Marvel/DC when submitting any of my answers, so I will accept this answer as being incorrect

Here I figured the argument would be whether he is actually a super hero or not ... Count Dooku, thank you for pointing that out. I started "deep diving" for information but failed to check the primary resource I listed in the rules.

Based on this ... Sorry A-aron ...

I will update the scoring on the next question.

Good grief ... Metropolis not chosen?!? I suck at figuring the logic of reverse questions Almost went with Asgard over Latveria which would've been a unique.

That would've helped my score as well.

But does Asgard qualify as a city or a country?

I almost went with Krypton, but wasn't sure if that was considered a city or a planet, so I turned my attention to the other two Superman locations and chose the wrong one.

Also, if we have any Odin-worshiping heathens here one could make the argument that Asgard should be wrong because it isn't a fictitious location
