Another movie SHEEP game: SHEEPERHERO II

Re: Another movie SHEEP game: SHEEPERHERO II
OK, I have received one answer that I am considering tossing out as I don't feel the character is significant enough to justify.
I understand the way I wrote that question left it subjective ... To me, "significant" would mean that I would probably mention the character by name when giving a decent description of the overall plot of the movie.
Former Sheepmasters -- please advise me if there is protocol for this. Should I contact the player and advise him/her to make another selection, or did I write that too subjectively and I should just let the answer stand?

It is hard to qualify across the board what makes a "significant character". When re-counting the plot of Star Wars, I doubt I'd mention Grand Moff Tarkin while describing the plot, but I still think he would count as a significant character. Depending on the movie, characters can be significant even if they appear in only one scene (Mr. X in JFK) or are nameless and only appear for seconds (the sniper at the end of Full Metal Jacket).
I'm guessing as long as the player gave you a character with a proper name (General Veers as opposed to Storm Trooper on Hoth), it is probably a correct answer.

I'm holding you to that promise of a 24 hr warning before you close entries. I've been thinking long and hard about those reverse questions. Getting a match to #5 would be pretty devastating since there are hundreds of correct answers.

Re: Another movie SHEEP game: SHEEPERHERO II
As of now, I would like to start scoring Friday, but if holding off means picking up three or four more people I'd rather get a few more players.
Trust me, there are not hundreds. I'm still trying to come up with a good way to "clean up" that question, but I've not come up with a good way of doing it. "Signifcant" is somewhat subjective, but by the answers I have received pretty much everybody has gotten the gist of it. Not everybody though. If I do make a change, I will allow players a chance to revise their answer. Then again, that's the fun of Sheep!

Just to keep Decker happy ... Or should I be keeping Obi Wan Jabroni happy? No, no it's definitely Decker ... I'm going to put out the 24 hour call now.
I will accept answers after that, but I want to prompt people along. I will start working on the back-end scoring tomorrow and through the weekend, but won't start posting reveals until Monday.
Submissions sent through the weekend (before I start posting reveals on Monday) will still be be accepted with a small penalty (2 points if sent on Saturday, 5 points if sent on Sunday). I am even going to try something different -- I will even take late submissions once the reveals have begun. Any late submissions will receive the worst score received +/- 2 points (depending on if it is a Sheep or a Reverse) on any questions revealed up to that point.
I'm not at my laptop, so I'm not 100% certain on the number of players at the moment but I believe we are at 15. Add Kal-El and Obi Wan Jabroni to the list I posted.

Actually, I already submitted this morning. There are some toughies there. Any match to #4 would be miraculous.
I'm not a fan of taking submissions after the game has already started -- you can see trends develop sometime. It's your game, but my suggestion is to stick to a firm cut-off time that has been previously announced.
And my other suggestion is that you count the total number of {sd} included in each submission and make sure nobody included more than five.

Alright. I'm out of town on vacation and won't be able to check in on the game at all when it runs next week. But I'll throw in some crappy answers to buff up your numbers. It will probably be a blessing a disguise for me to avoid the shame of a live reveal.

It would be much easier for me post at odd hours (over the weekend and late at night) but last time I got the vibe that we have a lot of slacker Sheep who are screwing around when they should be working ...
If there aren't any objections, I could start posting a few reveals as early as tomorrow night.

I see your point about late submissions ... I'm still learning here! I've received six more submissions since this morning, so we are over 20. I am going to go ahead and set 9pm CDT tomorrow as the cutoff.
