That Superman/Batman bit was excruciating...

The Movie Awards at one time in the 90s and early aughts were literally the best awards show since it was just a really fun parody of Award Shows and usually the winners weren't so damn serious since they knew it was just a fun joke award.

Yeah, they are totally serious about these. Hope Daisy wins more than this worthless tin of a trophy someday...

It's actually a bit better these past few years since it is no longer the annual Twilight Movie Awards.

What's up with them showing some pretty lengthy naked man ass in the clip from Trainwreck? They bleeped all the profanity but show this? Glad I wasn't watching with my kids or anything.

Yeah, for a number of years after the MTV Music Awards turned into crap, the MTV Movie Awards stayed good. But then around 2004 or so, they also turned into crap too.

I still like a lot of the spoofs during its mid-'90s to mid-'00s heyday, like this one for Scream from 1997:
