"You’re So Cool Brewster!: The Story of Fright Night"
From Dead Mouse Productions and the Producer of ‘Leviathan: The Story of Hellraiser & Hellbound: Hellraiser II’, comes the all-new ‘Fright Night’ documentary ‘You’re So Cool, Brewster! The Story of Fright Night’
Fully supported and produced by original Fright Night writer and director Tom Holland, this documentary is the ultimate insight into the making of this cult classic movie as well as a tribute to the late, great Roddy McDowall.
The Story of Fright Night will feature detailed interviews with those who helped shape and create this much loved movie. Guided by Tom Holland the makers of this new documentary will raise the stakes and unearth the behind the scenes stories including footage and images from Tom’s personal archives.
Leviathan proved that an independent documentary supported solely by the fans and a dedicated team of filmmakers can result in a fully detailed retrospective documentary. Leviathan is a 3-disc, 9 hour treat for Hellraiser fans, the intention is to give Fright Night the same respect and treatment.

I haven't heard of Leviathan or this until now... for anyone who has seen 'Leviathan', how does it compare to 'Never Sleep Again: The Elm Street Legacy' and 'Crystal Lake Memories: The Complete History of Friday the 13th'?

I saw people posting about this in a group I'm in on Facebook. Sounds like it could be an interesting and I like in depth documentaries on films so I'll check it out at some point.

Interesting, that like the TV series Bewitched , the majority of the stars were gay.

I wonder if it'll touch on the sequel and remake at all. Even then nine hours is a lot for three films I agree. I don't think Crystal Lake Memories is that long (more like seven hours I believe plus more with some deleted footage) and that covered twelve films.

Yeah, it definitely covers Part II. You see can see bits of that in the trailer.
I've never been a fan of the sequel. Caught it a couple times on cable, but found it to be pretty disappointing. I loved the Amy character, so I didn't like that they gave Charlie a new girlfriend. I know Amanda Bearse had moved on to Married with Children by that point, but I believe both she and Tommy Lee Wallace have said that there was no effort to bring the character back (apart from a very early draft of the script). Evil Ed was missed as well, though I never understood how he was supposed to be alive at the end of the first one.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to this doc, though 9 hours is definitely overkill.

Right, which I take to mean as far as being comprehensive goes. I doubt they have a mandate to make it that long. I mean, I love FN but 9+ hours on how it was made... I dunno. Never Sleep Again covered all the NoES movies and it "only" runs for 4+ hours.

Each movie should get an hour at most. Anything more than that is just overkill and likely repeated information. Also, avoid the parts of the interview where there is patting on the back of others.

I would watch a 2-hour doc on the 1985 film. The others don't interest me.

Fright Night also had a comic book series that ran for about 2 years, so I suppose they might cover that as well.

UPDATE: Due to the constant demand from the production team to ensure that this Documentary is the best quality that it can be, plus that we have added a couple of extra interviews that came in after post production started, we now have estimated pre-order and release dates. This will be worth the wait! Our director Chris and editor Eastwood are, as I type, busy editing and refining the documentary. We are also pleased to showcase the O-Card art by Mute Designs that will accompany Graham Humphrey's cover art. Enjoy!
