Surprised out of all movie threads this thread is 2 pages long.

Just a average movie. The guy who called himself Kenny Rogers was the most memorable bit.

Spoiler:
Did Pierce Brosnan's character really have to shoot that truck driver when he could have gotten out of the way lol?

Maybe I need to watch that scene again unless the driver intentionally was going to run him over like the scene earlier in the film with all the bodies lying on the street.

Brosnan's character was very close to death and wasn't going to make it. He wanted to ensure he stopped the truck driver from catching up to the family, so he waited in the middle of the road to give him the best shot at the driver. He dies a quicker death and protects the family - 2 birds, 1 stone.
