She's not. It's Jamie Lee kissing Laurie Strode.

Has anyone gone to see the original (1978) Halloween that's showing in theaters now? Seems like it would be cool to see it before the new sequel.

I'm seeing it next Tuesday.

I’m marathoning all the films before release of this despite the new one only being a sequel to the first. Finished Season of the Witch last night.

I will say upon rewatching Halloween II this time there are aspects of it I don’t like. The brother/sister reveal while something I don’t mind doesn’t have the payoff it needs to and is basically a throwaway line. The movie basically wouldn’t be any different without it plot wise. I also don’t really like the way they changed how the score sounds in the sequel. The first film’s score is great and one of the all time classics.

I saw it in theaters on Halloween night last year and would love to go see it on the big screen again. Im still looking for a place in town that'll have a double feature.

Did you hear that this was something that's supposed to happen, or just wishful thinking?

Not nationally but a theater in North KC will have both movies on Halloween Night. I'm hoping a certain theater closer to home might have both movies as well.

I did Sunday night, and it was great to see on the big screen.

I have a soft spot for Halloween II for how absurd it is. Showed it to my wife last night, and I still crack up when the car comes out of nowhere and kills the guy wearing the mask.

Also you could make a Loomis drinking game out of his quotes "I treated him for 15 years, the evil, or I shot him!" Congrats you're now black out drunk.
