I think we just have to accept that a lot of the 2nd half didn't work at all.

Redboxed this last night and it was ok. It was style over substance but you had to figure that every single scenario/transition was a con. The ending didn't quite work out for me but everything else was fun. Smith and Robbie have great chemistry and I wouldn't be surprised if they actually started shagging while filming. I don't want to say that it's a coincidence that they're now in Suicide Squad together. She's fucking fine as fuck in Focus.

Watched this last night and was entertained. I agree that the second half had some problems, and that Smith looks great and Margot Robbie is beautiful (I saw her in About Time before Wolf of Wall Street). Though it turned my stomach a bit to see this big operation solely about swindling people.

Worth a rental.

This movie was entertaining from start to finish. Well put together and the suspense was definitely there. Will Smith is definitely one of my favorite actors and he played this role well. 4.5/5

Why does your rating scale go to 5 on this movie but 10 on others? Weird...

That really gets under my skin, too. Like being forced to french kiss a transgender Millennial community activist.

Finally got around to seeing this. It's close to being good. There's something scuzzy about stealing directly from people though; better when it's faceless companies. Will Smith kinda looked burnt throughout. Maybe he was tired from banging Margot Robbie. I'm usually not impressed by starlets but she's pretty much a 10/10 in this film, especially in that black bikini.

^Watched this earlier too. The movie peaked with the B.D. Wong scene. Robbie and the soundtrack made the rest watchable.

I watched this today and completely agree with most posters about the movie peaking with the B.D. Wong scene. It just went downhill from there and the second half was so much slower than the first. Luckily Margot Robbie was there in her bikini to keep me somewhat still interested. 2.75/5
