Chuck Norris vs. Communism
Looks like a cool documentary, premiering at Sundance:
"In 1980s Romania, thousands of Western films smashed through the Iron Curtain, opening a window into the free world for those who dared to look. A black market VHS racketeer and a courageous female translator brought the magic of film to the masses and sowed the seeds of a revolution."

I'm sure Norris, one of the great political theoreticians of the modern age, has some trenchant things to say about communism.

I can't wait to see the epic battle between Chuck Norris and Fidel Castro. Oh, wait. This film is about his Romanian adventure. Never mind.

I was really hoping when I read the thread's title that this meant someone was going to make a Chuck Norris toppling Communism movie. I would pay to see that movie.

One day Chuck Norris was bored and invented communism so he'd have something to defeat.

I was watching a documentary on Bruce Lee the other day. One of his associates mentioned that Bruce thought Norris had an incredible roundhouse kick, one of the best he'd ever seen. I'm pretty sure if Bruce Lee had lived in the 1980s, those two would have starred as buddy cops in a trilogy.

Had it and loved it. My body building friend wasn't impressed with it, but I honestly was. I had the lower cost version. After about 5 or 6 years, and plenty of use, One of the handles snapped off. I might have been able to rig it back to keep using it, but I decided to just give it away. Would have loved to have owned the deluxe version that is shown on the infomercials, but last I looked it was like 5X the cost of the entry model I had.

A few of his movies are entertaining escapism, but yeah, as a person...
Although, I remember him being interviewed several times in the '80s and '90s by late Canadian interviewer Brian Linehan (by far the best "celebrity" interviewer ever, imo), and Norris came across as quite affable. Too bad there's no Yt video extant.
However, his anti-Obama attack ads, with "1000 years of socialism", or whatever nonsense he and his bimbo barfed out, were pretty low. He's not the sharpest knife in the drawer.

I thought this was going to be a poll.
