It wasn't meant as a criticism of the idea of depicting homosexuality or bisexuality of any kind in the film. If the filmmakers choose do that for any reason, that's obviously completely fine. I'm not uncomfortable with the idea and it could add depth to the character. I'm just wondering what purpose it would serve narratively, and would rather hope that if it's in the film, it'll be more than just cheap titilation.

OK, nerdiness to the extreme here, but why would any of them need to? Humans have sexuality as an evolutionary reproductive need. The Amazons were all made by the gods, right? They really wouldn't need to have any kind of sexuality because it wouldn't serve any purpose. It is kind of odd how every creature in fiction not only looks human, but has the same biological needs.

Yes, I'm well aware of that, my point was that existence of sexuality in immortal people didn't make a tremendous amount of sense under the theory of evolution. Granted, that may not be an issue since we're talking about a magical fantasy group of people who only exist in comic books, but that's no fun.

I scanned through the pages of this thread and may have missed it but why is this movie taking place in WWI and not WWII?

Wonder Woman 1 takes place during World War I. Wonder Woman 2 will take place during WWII. Symmetry.
