Looks pretty good to me overall, and as someone that thinks Wonder Woman was one of the best parts of Batman V Superman i'm looking forward to seeing more.

Maybe they won't do it for this film.

Totally didn't know WW's badass theme was Cello based.
Story around 2:40

That is cool. Cello is my favorite instrument.

Anticipating her appearances in costume or even street clothes, was one of the rare bright spots of BvS for me. I've been down on Gadot this whole time- but she thankfully seemed capable of the demands of the role- as underutilized as she was in that movie.
In fact she was a rare bit of charm in an otherwise overwhelmingly charmless film.
One of that films big failings was not to thread her through the story more substantially. Story-wise, she is component that should have been the mediating force reconciling the main characters- rather than leaving that to the silly contrivance of "Martha!". This should have been obvious at the script stage.
Really hope they wake up over there and ditch those lame filters, though. I continue to be baffled by the herd mentality that seems to be influencing so many 'artists' in this area- unless it's a dictate from the non artist, suits to conform to a house style. It's pathetic either way.
And yeah...that theme. I read a lot of people enthused over it back in March. I listened to a sample (out of context) and couldn't see what was so great. Actually it turned me off. But in the film it worked remarkably well. I look forward to hearing a whole score to WW next year.

Anyone know why Patty Jenkins essentially went dark for years after 'Monster'? Such a great debut and then nothing.

Can someone remember, because I know I read it or heard it somewhere...
That being, either Snyder or someone else saying that red portion of her costume is partially dark due to dried blood from her battles over the centuries.

The more I see Gadot in costume, the more I like her as Diana/Wonder Woman.
She's not really a household name, but I think they made the right choice casting her.

The article also notes she's been pushing to do a Wonder Woman movie since 2005.

From the costume designer:
I don't think it was meant to be taken literally that there's dried blood on there, just the red palette is meant to invoke the color of blood?
From the costume designer:
Justice League costumer designer Michael Wilkinson has the enviable task of doing so for the D.C. team-up coming next year and, during the recent set visit (chronicled by our own Umberto here) he spoke specifically about the tweaks they’ve made to Wonder Woman’s costume post-Batman v Superman.
“They’re really just typical changes to make the costume more comfortable and more serviceable for the choreography that Gal does. We did a slight tweaking of the color too, we’ve enriched the red a little bit. We always talk about centuries of congealed blood from her victims on the dress, so we really went for that really rich blood red on the dress. We increased and we exaggerated these sort of different golds and silvers. You can see in her eagle and the W’s on her belt.”
