I don’t think a week early is all that big of a deal personally. If they were pushing it back sure but this isn’t even the first April MCU film. Disney is probably thinking we screwed up by making Solo release in the same month plus we have Deadpool to compete with.

I wasn’t aware all of those are coming out soon. Wrinkle and RP1 will take over #1 spot when they come out. I have a feeling Raider and PR2 will underperform and/or tank.

I actually think Tomb Raider could surprise. The trailer looks pretty good in my opinion and it seems like female led films are on the rise a bit. Truth be told I think Ready Player One could underperform. It seems like a movie that will either hit big or just do nothing. I love Spielberg but his films as of late are iffy.

Rated PG and having Oprah who is a one-woman marketing machine Wrinkle will be huge I would think.

So I see the movie has moved up a week in release. Great news.
Also, whilst browsing online I saw a listing of the Infinity War products coming out. I don't think its been mentioned yet, but one of the items is Thors new hammer...Stormbreaker. Its the one he used in comics in recent years where one side is a hammer and the other side an axe.

This is how I feel about it too. If there’s a good reason for it to happen then that’s fine but it seems like some have been ready for a death for the past few big films. Like when Age of Ultron came out and it was first learned that there was going to be a death people were speculating and Hawkeye seemed to be the favorite at that point.

in the X-Men films.
The good thing is now that Marvel will have access to Fox's X-Men characters soon enough they can come up with a reason to reincarnate the X-Men Quicksilver so he is back in play.
The scene where the X-Men Quicksilver rescues pretty much the entire occupants of the X-Men mansion (including the fish!) single-handedly before it is destroyed is just a ridiculously fun scene.

for what is worth I like both Quicksilvers. But Evan Peters is such an amazing actor, I feel like if he would ever come to the MCU he needs a more important role

Early projections have this at $235 million opening weekend, potentially higher.

I get commercials, but none after the advertised start time. Before that, I don't have a problem with it. Trailers can run for up to 20 minutes though.

I need to find a place in town that won't have 30 minutes of ads and trailers. Drafthouse will be good, but I'm taking my boy. As much as he's looking forward to this, that long a sit will tax almost every kid, no matter how much action there is.
