The actual taking down of Thanos. This one seems to be just Thanos causing chaos to get the Infinity Stones, big deal enough as it is. Avengers 4 will be taking him down once he has all the Stones. That's the big payoff that this whole film is a tease to.

Yeah. Civil War made it pretty obvious that he could sense that thing coming at him. I can't remember HC too much but I know there was stuff there too. But Cap 3 was a major visual of him sensing danger coming his way.

No, they are filming Avengers 4 now. They are 2 separate produtions. They probably filmed some stuff for A4 during principle for IW, but they just officially started production on A4 recently.

Wow! Amazing!
It also looks like the teams from Civil War are still divided somewhat, and things don't look like they are going good for Tony's team. Good chance Rhodey winds up being fixed up in Wakunda.

I just hope they make Thanos so fucking badass... it doesn't bother me that he isn't in his full armor, hopefully he will be sometime during the film.

Looking at the beginning of the trailer it looks like Tony is holding thhe hands of a dying team mate, and looks rather look a black guys hands. I doubt that will be Falcon, Heimdell or Black Panther... So i guess War Machine might be exiting stage left.

Looks to me like he's just holding his own dirty hand.

We had some discussion about the lack of it in the Spider-man Homecoming thread if I recall, as both the director and Feige had commented about it. It wasn't really apparent or highlighted at all.

This is what you get when a studio takes the time to build up to an event film, and I still believe that Warner Brothers has the time to reset the clock and in 10 years they can have their Avengers: Infinity War type film.
It is not too late for them to rebuild the DCEU as time flies by when folks are enjoying your films so while 10 years may sound like an excruciatingly long time to get to your mega movie(s) (if you split it in two) it is not.
Warners already has experience with this (patience in world building) when they adapted each Harry Potter book...can you imagine if they just skipped over the first 6 books and went straight to Deathly Hallows? You might have still ended up with an enjoyable film or two but you would also be left with the nagging feeling that there is a rich history/backstory to the characters on screen that was skipped over and would lead to you having a much deeper appreciation of the films and what was accomplished in adapting the Harry Potter Universe to film.
