Which One Movie have you Watched the Most Times ?

Re: Which One Movie have you Watched the Most Times ?
Well, I spent the summer with my grandparents and they went to the movies nearly every day due to the senior discount. I knew Episode I had major faults, but I was at the height of my Star Wars obsession and watching it multiple times was more interesting than seeing something like Notting Hill or Wild Wild West. I saw Clones at least ten times in theaters, but I have no excuse for that (other than I was still drinkin' the Lucas Kool-Aid).

The problem with my memory is that I grew up watching a lot of kid/family films on a regular basis, for example, I have probably seen films like Pollyanna and Darby O'Gill at least 4-6 times each. Then there is the network airing of The Wizard of Oz, and oh yeah, I have also seen Annie at least 3-4 times. Non family films I watched multiple times on VHS include Airplane, and Raiders Of The Lost Ark.
You can probably count the number of films I remember seeing more than once in theaters on maybe two hands (The Fugitive, Anastasia Animated version, The Avengers, Deep Impact, and maybe 3-4 other films).
Action films that I rewatch with some frequency are Lifeforce, Predator/P2, Aliens, Die Hard, The Long Kiss Goodnight, Alligator, The Andromeda Strain, The Killer, and Hard Boiled
On the other hand, beloved geek films like Blade Runner and Back To The Future, I have only seen them in their entirety only once.

Tough to say. Smokey And The Bandit is my all time favorite so I've seen that a hundred times starting with twice when it was in the theater.
It was 1980 something and I worked in a high end stereo shop. [Patton Oswald voice from the Goldbergs] We had Raiders Of The Lost Ark playing on the LD player daily so that was forced viewing of some sort to demo surround sound. (By the way, back then surround sound was 2 stereo speakers up front and one speaker in the back center.)
Also when my kids were little, I was working from home and taking care of them a couple days a week so Peter Pan would be playing on the VCR a several times a day. So I probably saw that a couple zillion times as well.

I suppose I watched Spirited Away quite a bit, back when it was the only DVD I owned.
Now I have an entire collection, and I don't watch anything on the TV that much. Funny how things work, huh?

Not very original answer but then the film is just that good. Star Wars: A New Hope. I'm surprised I didn't wear out that VHS tape.

lol yeah. Kid digs the Madgascar, but he seems to rotates then get obsession with certain movies. He is really fired up about a Bugs Life recently, so that might be climbing the charts soon.

Probably The Thomas Crown Affair (1999). For awhile it was my "guilty pleasure" movie. I'm something of a fan of Rene Russo since she's about my age and I was impressed with her in that movie in her mid forties and, more recently, in the Thor movies in her late fifties — we should all look so good at that age!
The other possibility would be Star Wars, since I saw it six times at the theater (as an adult) and perhaps another half dozen times since, in various video iterations.
Unlike those of you who grew up with home video, that wasn't an option for my generation. So, no repeat home viewings of things as a kid. In those days we spent most of our time outside when we weren't in school — I grew up on the beach in Kailua, Hawai'i.
My most read book is, without question, Pride and Prejudice, so my number one flickchart ranking is Pride and Prejudice (1995).

Probably Star Wars, Die Hard or The Lion King. Also, watched The Deer Hunter an inordinate amount of time, given its length. But, I really wish I knew for sure...
