Reviews are starting to come in: http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/sin_...e_to_kill_for/
Something to note for the people wondering in the other thread...EDDIEMONEY I'M TALKING TO YOU!
Dwight's embroiled in a savage f**k/hate relationship with his psychopathic ex Ava (Eva Green), who manipulates him into a murderous act – primarily by wielding her bare boobies as a weapon of mass seduction in almost every scene she's in. If the 3D was half decent on this movie you'd be in constant fear that her protruding nipples would take your eye out.

Wait, there are 3D showings of this? News to me. Meh, Eva's tits are great but not enough of a reason to watch in 3D.

It has a 50% on rottentomatoes with 4 reviews. 1 person felt it was pointless and too violent, 1 person felt like it was irrelevant after a decade, the other two liked it.

The live action was shot entirely on a greenscreen in native 3D, and then there was substantial work that including 65 fully CG locations and 1,500 CG assets. The VFX team numbered roughly 700 (this number didn't include the Prime Focus staffers that handled the stereoscopic 3D conversion work), primarily in Prime Focus’ Mumbai facility (which handled nearly 1,800 of the shots) and Vancouver (nearly 500 shots).

So no surgery but he gets all fucked up and puts bandages on? I guess that's cool too.

So along with 300:Rise/Empire, Eva is now the queen of the 3D boobs!

I'm also curious, did they recast Brittany Murphy's role, or just cut it out?

Re: Sin City: A Dame to Kill For (Rodriguez & Miller, 2014) — The Reviews Thread
from Boston Herald:
It may be in 3D this time around, but Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller's monotone, monochrome comicbook universe feels flatter than ever in "Sin City: A Dame to Kill For." Rare indeed is the movie that features this many bared breasts, pummeled crotches and severed noggins and still leaves you checking your watch every 10 minutes. But that's the dubious accomplishment of this visually arresting but grimly repetitive exercise in style, set against a sordid neo-noir landscape populated almost exclusively by tormented tough guys and femme-fatale fetish objects. Nearly a decade after the first "Sin City" grossed more than $158 million worldwide, it's doubtful whether the directors' overlapping fanbases can muster the same level of excitement for a picture about which the best one can really say is, "It sure beats 'The Spirit.' "

I kind of liked The Spirit at times. Little, so very little, bits here and there. I'm so iffy on this. The Alba scenes play so awkward from what I've seen. She was the actor in the previous cast. Not sure I even like the JGL scenes they've released.
