I smile when I see your threads. My favorite is when you asked how much to pay to get proper responses. I wish that was how life worked, throw some money up and get real help.
Anyways this will be a futile response but Frank killed himself because he saw his brother in the court room. He commented that his brother was a tough man and he realized that he had been weak in turning on the Coreleones. He decided to kill himself to return his honor.
Fredo was killed because turned on the family. The only reason he didn't kill him earlier is that their mother was still alive. As far as him watching him do it, I can't recall if he was actually watching that or just looking out over the lake at an unknown time. He ordered the hit either way though so it really doesn't matter.
