JK Simmons working out to play Gordon (at least that's what the thought is as JL is the only other film not in post on his resume):

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

It's always been rumored if he appears, it'll be a cameo toward the end.

Watching this scene be shot - I saw about five takes, two different set-ups (one was a close-up on Wonder Woman as she smiles at Cyborg) - I couldn’t help but geek out. Yes, I hated BvS, but here was Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash and Gordon in perfect costume (and also Cyborg in his jammies) standing next to the Batsignal talking about Parademons. This is the sort of shit a comic book nerd lives for.
But more than that, as a hater this scene really went a long way to convincing me that Snyder and company truly understand how they fucked up BvS. They’re not just paying lip service. They really get it.

Sounds like they basically invited all this press to the set to try and start convincing people that Justice League is going to be much better, like the link that raven provided.
A few scene descriptions too in this article, sure sounds like they're lightening things up a bit.
Last Friday, io9 was among a group of journalists invited to the London set of Justice League. There director Zack Snyder, star/executive producer Ben Affleck, and everyone involved all had one, simple message for us: We know. And we’re trying.
They know mistakes were made with Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Lessons have been learned. And as we watched filming on day 31 of the film’s 111-day shoot, with the fate of DC’s entire cinematic universe seemingly in the balance, those lessons were certainly being put into action.
“The main thing we learned [on Batman v Superman] is that people don’t like to see their heroes deconstructed,” said producer Deborah Snyder. “They like seeing them in all their glory… I think what’s really great is where we’re going is kind of what the audience is wanting. We just had to take the characters from somewhere to bring them up to where they are and that was our journey.”

We just had to take the characters from somewhere to bring them up to where they are and that was our journey.”
“It did catch me off-guard,” said Snyder. “I have had to, in my mind, make an adjustment… The nice thing about working on Justice League is that it is an opportunity to really blow the doors off of the scale and the bad guys and team-building and all the stuff that I think I could justify as a big, modern comic book movie.”
While Batman v Superman had to “dig down into the darker parts of them to make them fight each other,” according to Snyder, the Justice League story is lighter in numerous ways. “With Justice League, [Batman and Superman] have both been freed of the shackles of the responsibility to be in a place where they would fight each other,” the director explained. “That is liberating for us in making the movie because really now we have a single enemy with a single objective, and it’s really about uniting the team. That, to me, is a fun activity.”

Until I actually see improvement I can't get excited over the typical geek out moments being talked about above. I mean technically there were a lot of moments like that in Batman V Superman but it was still a shitty film overall.

I'm tired of the constant bitching about these movies every time I look for updates about them.

Kristofer Hivju is taking a trip from Westeros to the DC Comics universe.
The Game of Thrones actor has landed a role in the forthcoming JUSTICE LEAGUE directed by Zack Snyder. Hivju is set to play an ancient Atlantean king who is in possession of one of the three alien Mother Boxes, a storyline in the DC universe.

You liked them but not everyone did. When these movies start improving, you'll be seeing nothing but lovefests when you look for updates. Besides, I will be first in line when we start hearing they're good. I want more Superman and Batman movies, it's what I've loved a kid. But until the tide changes, I'm not hiding how I feel about them.

If you liked them that's fine. That's what opinions are for but that doesn't mean that people who don't like them should just keep quiet and not voice an opinion. I'm just not going to be a blind fanboy to something that's shitty. I like these characters and would like to see good films involving them but to date that's not happening.

That has to be the most uninspiring and boring logo for a SUPERHERO TEAM ever made. A monkey with photoshop elements could probably make a better one.

Sir you have a knock for the obvious. I know this and that's why I WANT THEM(Snyder/DC) TO LEARN FROM THEIR MISTAKES so they can please those of you who did NOT like these films. I clearly stated that in my post. I'm actually one your(people who hated and constantly complain about these films) side in way.
