Guanajuato and Michoacan are my favorite other-than-Guadalajara spots to vist. I usually stay in the town square of Guanajuato, Guanajuato. The grub, drinks, rompope are the bomb! We usually take the ETN chartered buses there, because those buses are so freakin' comfortable and relatively cheap.

Having only taken Greyhound before I was surprised how nice and comfortable the busses can be there.

Yeah, it depends on the company. When we went to Mexico City we took some normal charter and it took us about 10 hours to get there from GDL and it was so fucking uncomfortable that we swore we would never do that. Next time out we'd just fly out from GDL, which would take 45-minutes by plane, or take the ETN.

ETN rocks:

Exactly. This "he said she said" is almost always bs. How convenient that Leo stumbled upon this store. Small world? Maybe, but if true, whatever. Most people I know are complete assholes. What else is new?

It's not exactly "he said", it's more "I said". And he may have changed but still doesn't stop me from thinking he's overrated.

Sorry, I don't know you, making you a " He" in this case.

No, no, no, not the facial expression you see every time you ask for some head, I'm talking important stuff like color timing.

Fox is pulling out all the stops for the global launch of X-Men: Days Of Future Past, with stars Hugh Jackman, Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy stepping up to bat for a week’s worldwide premiere tour billed as the “X-Men X-Perience.” The trio — who respectively play Wolverine, young Magneto and young Dr. Charles Xavier in the film — made a web video announcement today (see below). After the New York premiere, they will be joined by castmembers Jennifer Lawrence, Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, Peter Dinklage, Ellen Page, Fan Bingbing, Omar Sy and Nicholas Hoult for tour stops including London, Moscow, Singapore, Melbourne, Beijing and Sao Paulo — though who will wind up where is still a secret. It’s a logical move by the studio to put the talent in front of the summer tentpole’s marketing campaign in the wake of director Bryan Singer‘s sexual abuse lawsuit. But it is also good business: The X-Men franchise has morphed into a cash cow overseas, with the most recent titles — last year’s The Wolverine and 2011′s X-Men: First Class – pulling in well over 60% of their global box office haul from territories outside the U.S. and Canada. The studio began downplaying Singer this weekend at WonderCon, pulling the helmer from his scheduled appearance in favor of X-Men producer-scribe Simon Kinberg. Controversy or not, this is a marketing move typical of 20th Century Fox’s prowess in foreign markets, and since the days of Titanic and Braveheart it has always globetrotted talent in an effort to raise a film’s profile and maximize moolah. X-Men: Days Of Future Past opens day and date worldwide May 25.

If we keep talking about Leo, Daniel Day Lewis, and the newly announced "X-Men X-Perience"...... maybe we will all forget that Hollywood is filled with rich and powerful pedophiles.

So... the owner I mentioned the other day was one of the three mentioned in today's accusations.

So I'm reading the Xmen cover story in EW, and Singer says that comic fans are well familiar with Captain America and Superman, but not the Xmen. He them says that when he was a kid, he didn't even know who Wolverine was.

I thought Singer grew up as a massive Xmen fan, which was one of the reasons people liked the fact that he was attached to the first two movies?

Something seems really off about this whole thing.

Hawaii's age of consent is 16, that both makes sense and seems kinda dirty in its own right

No. It was known back then that Singer never even heard of the X-Men before the first movie.

"Never even heard of the X-Men before he first movie"?

How is that even possible? The X-Men were a pop culture phenomenon well before the movies.

Not questioning you RocShemp or the veracity of the claim, but it just seems very odd that he had never heard of them.

That was Singer's claim when he made the first movie. From what I recall, he was just a gun for hire on a project that had like almost 10 screenwriters. In the end, all but David Hayter refused to take credit for the finished script. Though I think Singer got a story credit (or perhaps that was for the sequel).

Re: Bryan Singer Rape Allegations

I credit Singer and the producers for starting the 'good comic book movie' era. It was also an early example of taking a lower-budget director and putting him in a big project. Christopher Nolan was also part of that earlier group that went from making really good lower-budget movies, and being able to work on really large projects. Now that's what a lot of producers look to do (the new Jurassic Park and Godzilla movies, in example ... straight from $1M to $100M).
