I certainly did not. I have such a hatred for that ginger twat. The only reason i kept an eye on the Kickstarter of his was because i wanted a good laugh when it failed. But of course, after years of brown nosing, he got his money due to a couple of Hollywood higher ups bailing him out. And what does the smelly orange five chins do...he spends the money on whatever he wants and not on what he promised. I was not shocked. This is not the first time he has conned the general public. At the beginning i questioned why anyone would give money to this project anyway. Paying to see his ugly face.....no thank you.

I always thought she was quite attractive, and skinny white girls are the furthest from my usual "type".

Yep.

I actually dig her. She's a solid actress.

I actually prefer to crush on lesbians. The rejection isn't personal, for a change.

I find her very attractive...not that she would have anything to do with me even if she wasn't famous.

It never struck me that Kate Mara was so short. Cute couple though, if you know what I mean. Wink, wink. Nudge, nudge. I'd like to watch the two of them go at it. Y'know, IT.

So, trans + queer? Honest question, but wouldn't he be back to being straight?

I wondered the same thing, considering he is married to a woman.

Good for him. Selfishly speaking, I wonder how this affects the Umbrella Academy role? Incorporate into? Probably going to have to do something.

I thought the same thing. I guess they wouldn't need to change anything... the character is the same gender still. And if they have a problem with that I guess he doesn't have to return to the role. I have a sneaking suspicion they will tailor it and change the character to fit the actor's wishes. (they shouldn't but that's another discussion)

Queer is a catch-all term. I don't think one can be trans and NOT queer. I think anyone who isn't cis-gender and straight could self-describe as Queer.

“Queer” challenges the assumed binary of sexual and gender identity. Many use the term as being synonymous with “gay”, but to me, that misses its meaning. “Queer” is about non-normativity, creativity, and diversity far beyond homonormative culture.

There's a good chance this will be the final season for Umbrella A. Unless he wants to bring it in the forefront, they won't have to refer to Vanya by gender or even say the name. Or use "Van" instead. Shouldn't be too hard, depending on Elliot.

Whoever "they" are, they have altered the meaning of queer from gay to include non-cisgender.

I don't mean "they" like Elliot, I mean "they" like whoever they are who decide to change the meaning of words and then give people grief who can't keep up.

Good for him. I don’t really consider myself “woke” but as a straight white male, I’ve often thought how lucky I was that I never had to hide my true self. I can’t imagine how terrible it would be for someone to be afraid to be themselves.

And on that selfish note, my first thought was also how this could affect the Umbrella Academy. I think it would be easy enough to write around Elliot’s real life.

Vanya Hargreeves now has to be trans; otherwise, according to the dictates of the Woke Culture Police, having a trans man portray a lesbian female is a violation of the representation rules.
