There must be a review embargo. Can't find anything about it. I like David Ayers, but when reviews are held back that's almost always a sign the movie sucks.

Arnold was on FOX last night and gave away the plot points that the trailer doesn't (or at least is slightly deceptive about)...so he's certainly not trying to sell the storyline the way the studio is. Then again, maybe we should be thankful the trailer doesn't give that info away...most trailers would.

Yeah I liked The Last Stand a lot. Escape Plan was a hell of a lot of fun too and way better than I ever expected it to be. I'm still seeing Sabotage despite the iffy reviews, I'm a big Schwarzenegger fan so his name alone is basically enough to catch my interest.

It's clear that they don't think it has any commercial potential at all and it'll probably go straight to video there.

I'd rather not go into spoiler territory but will say that no, I did not see the twist coming, and the last part of the film turned into a fucking western, which rocked. The movie was fucking brutally violent, too.

The geniuses who released the film on a crowded weekend should all be fired. Our theater was medium sized and there were probably only 25 people there. Granted, it was an 8:10pm "sneak peek" screening but still. Last month was dry as hell, so it could have opened then.


Anyways, as with all of David Ayer's directed and written works aside from SWAT, Sabotage will be added to the collection.
