Got it from Netflix last night. Thought it was a decent rental. Far from terrible. The tone and pace felt like Luc Besson at times. More worried than ever about the "Alien" franchise continuing in Blomkamp's hands. But, we'll see. And oh, blink and you'll miss Sigourney Weaver. Who had what seemed like a whopping 5 minutes of screen time.

Watched this the other night on HBO.
Big fan of D9, and while this nowhere as wonderful I didn't hate Chappie. Nor did I dislike.
I was entertained, even though the core story was fairly predictable.
Yolandi and Ninja were a hoot, the robot effects were rock solid, and there was a decent amount of violence. Fun stuff, but certainly not life-changing.
