What are some good gritty 80s crime movies
I'm talking about movies with pulsating 80s soundtracks, badass alcoholic cops, hookers with huge hair, now-ridiculous outfits, and lots of coke.

You can stream Michael Mann's Thief on Netflix. Not a lot of coke that I can remember, but a good, gritty crime drama.

Ditto on JOHNNY HANDSOME.
You should also give Walter Hill's other movies of the decade a try, esp. EXTREME PREJUDICE and RED HEAT.

52 Pickup ins a pretty grim one that goes well with the rest of them that have been listed. Kelly Preston is also in that one.

^^ Fighting Back was awesome. One of the 1st Tom Skerritt movies I saw.

If Big Shots can get called out, might as well throw Fatal Beauty in there---Which was probably the most violent comedy I ever saw at the time.
EDIT-Felt like digging up some info on that. Completely forgot that Brad Dourif was the baddie in it.
