I know people accuse me of being overly critical, but this movie was silly, awesome fun and I loved it from beginning to end.

Got to see this last week. Silly over the top fun and I was interested to see how they finally put Tokyo Drift into the continuity. Makes sense with what happened with Gisele and Han and how his character is a broken, depressed guy stuck in Tokyo. And makes me wonder how Statham's character is related to Shaw. Kinda lame that Dom shits on whatever connection he had with Elena. And I guessed that Carano was the mole.

Man, I love that Shaw logo and music. 2nd favorite for me when it comes to HK. The 1980s Golden Harvest logo and theme is my favorite one from HK. But admittingly...the Shaw one is better.

Just saw this as well. Despite the violence, mildly rough language and criminal activity, the movie was good, clean fun. Not knowing the post credit reveal (miraculously), I said to myself at one point that Statham would have been perfect as the villian in this movie, and bam, there he was!

Since when did all of these street racers suddenly become Jason Bourne skilled bad asses ?
Michelle Rodriguez was the weakest part of the movie. When Shaw discovered her connection to Dom, no way a pro like him would have kept her anywhere near his mission.
