I just watched the first one over this past weekend with some friends that had never seen it before. It was a blast and they loved it as well. Can't wait for the sequel.

'Greek' star Amber Stevens joins Jonah Hill, Channing Tatum in '22 Jump Street'
By Jeff Sneider
LOS ANGELES (TheWrap.com) - Amber Stevens, who starred on ABC Family's "Greek," is set to play Jonah Hill's love interest in Sony's collegiate comedy "22 Jump Street," TheWrap has learned.
Sequel finds stars Channing Tatum and Ice Cube returning along with filmmakers Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, who will direct from a screenplay by Michael Bacall and Oren Uziel.
"22 Jump Street" follows officers Schmidt (Hill) and Jenko (Tatum) as they go deep undercover at a local college. But when Jenko meets a kindred spirit on the football team and Schmidt infiltrates the bohemian art major scene, they begin to question their partnership. In addition to cracking the case, the two freshmen must figure out if they can have a mature relationship like real men.
In addition to Stevens, new cast members include Wyatt Russell, who will be playing one of Tatum's teammates.
Hill and Tatum are producing with Neal H. Moritz, while Stephen Cannell, who created the original TV series with Patrick Harburgh, will executive produce with Reid Carolin and Brian Bell.
"21 Jump Street" grossed more than $200 million worldwide, and Sony is slated to release the sequel on June 13, 2014.
Stevens, who is best known for playing Ashleigh Howard on ABC Family's hit series "Greek," has also appeared on "How I Met Your Mother" and "90210." She recently appeared in Sony's "The Amazing Spider-Man" and Ishai Setton's indie comedy "The Kitchen," and will soon be seen in Lionsgate's horror movie "Jessabelle."
Stevens is represented by UTA, Red Baron Management and Felker Toczek.

Brie Larson did nothing for me in 21 JS... she looked like a pudgy 15 year old.

Brie Larson wasn't hot or anything but she was likeable and her interactions with Jonah Hill were endearing. I liked them as a couple. No need to get him a new girlfriend with each movie.

Yea. That's what it was. Something about that quick-witted back and forth that makes any on-screen relationship good to watch.
Joss Whedon does it. All of the Apatow guys are pretty good with it. On TV, we have shows like The League.

Some movies just don't need a sequel... as much as I like this crew of actors in this setting, I'd leave well enough alone.

And some movies would benefit with a sequel, like this one. As long as they keep the same vibe and fun, there's nothing bad with another Jump Street. And personally, Brie Larson does nothing for me, so bring on some new hotties.

Brie Larson shows a little in The Spectacular Now if anyone wants to see it to 'make up their mind' about her.
I, personally, can't wait to see this. Loved the first one.

22 Jump Street is a terrible title, unless they changed the address of the whole police station. They should call it 21 Jump Street: New Semester or 21 Jump Street: Freshman

The first movie seemed self aware enough that they would have some silly explanation for the title. Your other titles sound like direct to home video sequels, like those American Pie spinoffs
