Kubrick's Perfectionism is bad
To be honest, it is just... fuck. I mean to strive for this the way he did, spending years preparing one movie is NOT cool. It ends up feeling cold and rather bland, prove me wrong. I dare you. Yep. As Tarantino also agrees with me here @ 8:50.
Basically Kubrick was striving for a perfectionism, which goes against human nature because humans cannot be perfect. Lo and behold doing a million takes of Shelley Duvall in Shining or Sidney Pollock walking to that thing in Eyes Wide Shut is utmost idiotic. He somehow lost it a bit somewhere around the 60s.

Shame that you make your films for the Weinsteins, who've made it their mission in life to destroy Hong Kong cinema and dance on its grave. Hey, I'm still bitter, it's second only to the OOT on my bitter was list, whaddya want

Cool Tarantino video. As far as your earth shattering 2 sentence analysis of the work of Stanley Kubrick, I managed to get half way through the first sentence.

I am locking this thread, and will lock any similar threads you make. I'm not doing this because you said something less than glowing about Kubrick. I don't care about that. What I do care about is that this is a discussion forum, and your threads do not foster discussion. It's fine to give your opinion about something, but if you can't articulate why you feel the way you do, then it's not a discussion, it's just you broadcasting your opinion and then making obnoxious comments.
So feel free to start a new thread with actual analysis. Those I will leave open, regardless of what your conclusions are.
