I swear the original question was "name an actor from that movie that appeared in another film directed by Scorsese" The number of sheep who thought the same seems to imply that it did.

Did anyone specify which Arthur, 1981 or 2011?

Crocker Jarmen 04-09-13 12:08 PM

Re: Two Bleats Up: The Roger Ebert Memorial Sheep Game

Yes. Everyone specified the 1981 Arthur, sparing us another Nosferatu debacle.

Yeah, I think the one after may be all over the board, unless others picked up on the same possible sheep answer I did based on the questions.

R:09 -An admirer of both directors, Ebert never weighed in with an opinion about Quentin Tarantino’s use of the “n-word” in JACKIE BROWN, which was criticized most vocally by Spike Lee. Name a Spike Lee movie in which Spike Lee does not make an on-screen appearance.

This one is going to hurt.

Yeah, I only came up with one potential title and that was only because it stood out in my mind when I first saw it that it was the first time I'd seen a Spike Lee film where I didn't see him in it. I know he's done others since, but I only remember that one specifically for not seeing him in it. (Now going back to the IMDB, I see him buried in the cast list, so apparently he was in it and I missed it.)

As big fan of Spike Lee's work, I feel like the odd man out because his most highly praised film, Malcolm X, I really don't like, mostly for the over produced scenes like the one above that rob of the film of a feeling of authenticity, and always reminding me I'm just watching a movie.

Spoiler:

Clockers
Hasslein +10
Super X +10

Lee gives himself a one-line cameo in this one as the phoniest looking construction worker I've ever seen. I'm guessing he shoehorned this one in just so he could have an on-screen moment with Harvey Keitel.

The best part is that I had no idea if he was in 25th Hour or not. I kind of knew that he hadn't been appearing in most of his more recent films, but just took a guess. After submitting my answers, I checked IMDB and saw I was right but figured 25th Hour is one of his more popular movies on this board and that it would be a common answer.

I think I knew he wasn't in 25th hour but just figured more people would say it. So, I picked She Hate Me out of my ass since I also knew he wasn't in too many of his recent movies. With Aunt Beru, my off the wall answer didn't work. I'm glad it worked here.
