eeeexcellent film. Green's best since George Washington if you ask me. People seen to forget that Nic Cage is one of the best actors on the planet. Even though after every 6 or 7 turds in a row like clockwork he reminds everyone.
Did anyone else read up on Gary Poulter (the guy who played the dad). It seems the only thing more amazing than his performance are the details of his life.

Yeah, this flick blew me away and if there's any justice in the world Gary Poulter should have or should get an Oscar for his role as Wade aka G-Daaawg. Dude was scary fantastic.

I saw this last night and really enjoyed it. Nicolas Cage proves yet again what he's capable of, but like others have said for every great film he does like this you get another 10 turds in a row.
It's a shame Poulter went out the way he did because next to Cage he was the best part of the movie. I'm surprised this didn't get more buzz last year on the festival circuit, because Poulter could have easily gotten a Best Supporting Actor nom for his role.
